MEET MAX FREW
Max Frew is a Mining and Exploration Geologist who started his career in 1980 in WA gold and diamond exploration.
Max participated in and managed many projects; from drilling the southern extensions of the Golden Mile, to diamond exploration in the Great Sandy Desert.
Max has been around long enough to understand the rhythms of the boom and bust. He also knows the importance of building and retaining a quality team.
In 2000, Max was approached by the then fledging mining and construction recruitment firm: WorkPac Pty Ltd, to manage its newly established Kalgoorlie branch, servicing the Goldfields mining industry.
During the following 8 years, Max established WorkPac Professional in Perth, served on the WorkPac Board, and built lifelong business relationships throughout the Australian Mining Industry RPR emerged from the GFC with the aim of providing expert and professional recruitment services to Companies and to Candidates, whether at a local project in the Yilgarn, or in the wilds of Africa.
MEET KRISTIE YOUNG
Kristie graduated from the University of Queensland in 1995 with a Bachelor degree in Mining Engineering (Honors).
Kristie spent a number of years working as a mining engineer in both u/g and o/c operations including one year of u/g operator time.
Since her time as an engineer Kristie and her husband have moved around the globe with her husband’s Metallurgical career.
Kristie has 3years experience in Mining Recruitment, and her extensive client and candidate networks built up over many years in industry enables the recruitment process for both parties a smooth, real and efficient one.
Kristie is also currently consulting to Curtin University (WA School of Mines) and will lecture one subject at WASM Semester 2, 2012.
